Michael Cole received warning after WWE RAW; has until Monday to apologize

Michael Cole and Corey Graves called for action in the WWE x Stranger Things special episode of Monday Night RAW. A popular superstar recently revealed that The Voice of WWE received a warning following his remarks during a match.

In one of the evening’s three title fights, Becky Lynch challenged Maxxine Dupri for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The fight had a controversial ending as the man held the bottom rope while pinning the Alpha Academy member to win the gold. As it happened, Cole said on air, “Becky just stole the championship.”

Earlier today, Becky Lynch took X (instead of Twitter) to claim that his lawyer, The Bulldog, had given Michael Cole a warning following the comments made by him. Staying in character, the 38-year-old heel further claimed that she won the match flawlessly. Lynch noted that Cole had until Monday to apologize.

“Miserable Michael Cole received a warning from THE BULLDOG! You must apologize IMMEDIATELY!!! I DIDN’T STOLE ANYTHING!!! I WON CLEAN! No outside interference (like some people), no premature decisions by the referee. His shoulders were on the mat, 1-2-3! You have until Monday to comply. @MichaelCole,” Lynch wrote.

Michael Cole made another remarkable remark on WWE RAW

In the main event of the show, Bron Breakker challenged CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.

During the competition, Michael Cole put the member of The Vision in place comparing him to two legendary artists. He felt that in the last 30 years, only Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle have managed to rise to such a high level as quickly as Bron Breakker.

“You know Corey, I’ve been here almost 30 years, and I’ve seen a handful of guys, actually two, who have taken the business to this level as quickly as Bron Breakker, number one Kurt Angle, number two Brock Lesnar,” Cole said.

Bron Breakker put in an impressive performance. However, CM Punk was able to dig deep and pick up the victory to retain his title. It will be interesting to see where The Unpredictable Badass goes from here.
