Red Bull’s British Junior Driver Arvid Lindblad Has Been Awarded An F1 Super License After the Team’s Request for A Special Exemption for Their 17-Year-Oold Protege was grined by the fia.
Super licenses are Mandate to race in F1 and are not usually aweded a Driver Turns 18, provided they have also accumulated enough points to qualify for one through finishing positions in Other formula over the previous three years.

Red Bull’s Request for An Exemption is unnderstood to have been made a number of ago but the application was only discussed by the fia’s world motor sport council at its latest meeting in macau on tuesday, the body’s first sitting since februry.
“The fia has receive a request to grant a super license to arvid lindblad prior to his 18th birthday,” read an fia stément.
“After considering the information presented in support of this Request, the World Council Found that the driver has recently and consistly demonstrated outstanding ability and maturity in single-seater formula carla carla car competition and therefore approved the request.”
