Why Jack Lockett’s Sam Carver Left Chicago Fire

Dick Wolf’s “One Chicago” Franchise has been one of NBC’s most reliable Nielsen Ratings performances after its flagship program “Chicago Fire”, which will debut in the fall of 2012. Except for a bad, half -perfect “Chicago Justice” (only 13 episodes in 2017), “Chicago PD” and “Chicago”, ” Wolfin ‘Law and Order’ -franchise. As long as the exhibitions “fans continue to tune in every week, these windy city procedures will not go anywhere.

Unfortunately, masted members do not guarantee that they will be adhered to for just as long. The fans were reminded of this when before the end of the exhibition 13, it was announced that Daniel Kyrri and Jake Lockett would not return to the exhibition in the fall. It is clear that series like the “Chicago Fire” event need viewers to feel that every character is a human, and thus exposed to an unexpected deadly end, but that does not mean that they must quietly accept the character’s destruction and/or exit to which they are placed during several seasons. Just see how shocked “9-1-1” fans got when Peter Krausen’s Bobby Nash died deeply unpleasant death last April.

On the plus side, Lockett’s Sam Carver did not reserve a journey to the big fireplace of heaven – even if no one was surprised if he had. As the paramedic Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith), the alcoholic Sam, recovering, returned to the sauce. He was able to be sober again (thanks to his friendship with purple again), but that journey is always uncertain.

Restless characters like SAM are vital to the “Chicago Fire” movie, so why did they give Locket a shoe? The answer is quite depressing.

Sam Carver’s departure was definitely an online business decision

When the time limit broke News that Kyrri and Lockett would not return to the “Chicago Fire” season 14, they made it quite clear that this was No Creative decision. As we have been reminded of long -term exhibitions time and time again, they are more expensive, the longer they stay in the air. And as the belt tightens, the actors sometimes squeeze from the series.

In the case of “Chicago Fire”, cost savings were already in place. Series -Vaksis had already appeared less in the episodes to keep their wages under control, so it was not a shock that when it was time to write a couple of characters from the show, Wolf and the company targeted two actors who had been introduced later in the run.

Some fans were concerned about Sam’s well -being after knowing that Lockett was about to leave the show, but he stopped transferring to Denver, where he continues to work. This became a blow to Violet, who was ready to continue his romance, but the change in the scenery seemed to be the best for Sam.

And not pay locket Another “Chicago Fire” season It was clearly the best thing for the network. It’s the hard reality of the company, people!
