Riot police and protesters clash after LA immigration raids

American riot police and demonstrators clashed in downtown Los Angeles following federal immigration raids across the city where dozens of people were placed in police custody.

A spokesperson for the internal security survey told Los Angeles Times that federal agents were carrying out search mandates linked to the port of people illegally in the country.

The security forces have aligned battles eating and what seemed to be tear gas rifles after the authorities ordered crowds to disperse around the twilight. On Friday, air images showed that armed immigration agents using unmarked vans to hold several people as crowds come together.

A police spokesman said the police on the scene of the demonstration had declared an illegal assembly, which means that those who had not left the area were subject to the arrest.
