Obsidian gave players their first good overview of his next title, The Our Worlds 2, in a new trailer for the Vitrine des Games Xbox. The trailer has shown more details on the history of the game, as well as its release date: it launches on October 29 on PC, Xbox and Game Pass. There was also more than a little of the satirical vision of the first game of capitalism, corporate culture and chaos in the trailer itself.
According to the trailer, players are an agent of the Earth’s management investigating uncontrolled rift reports, leading them to the colony of Arcadia, which is invaded. The page of the game store describes the conflict: “The colony of Arcadia is engulfed in a faction war, because the rule of the protectorate is challenged by the rebellion of their religious order and an entrepreneurial invasion.”
The trailer also shows part of the star gameplay, with more dark humor which was such than the clip of the first title. Players can recruit new companions, use a plethora of new weapons and even influence the growth of the colony because it reacts to their narrative choices.
