Dozens of demonstrators were arrested after a weekend of violence in Los Angeles while tensions have reached a boiling point immigration raids throughout the city.
On Sunday, managers of the application of the laws of several agencies stopped 41 demonstrators while anti-immigration demonstrations and in terms of customs’ application (ICE) have become uncontrollable.
Of the nearly four dozen arrests, 21 were processed by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), 19 by California Highway Patrol and one by the Los Angeles sheriff department.

Among the most violent alleged offenses, a person was arrested for attempted murder with a Molotov cocktail, Fox News Digital learned.
On Saturday, the LAPD arrested 10 individuals so as not to disperse. The agency did not arrest on Friday, according to officials.

The California Highway Patrol and the Sheriff Department of Los Angeles did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

In response to disorders, President Donald Trump Deployed 2,000 troops from the California National Guard in the region, with 300 soldiers arriving during the weekend.
“We made an excellent decision by sending the National Guard to face the violent riots and encouraged in California”, Trump written Truth Social Monday morning. “If we hadn’t done it, Los Angeles would have been completely erased.”
The tensions degenerated on the third day of protests while the agitators moved throughout the city, setting fire to autonomous cars and preventing the main highways.

The national guard troops went down the streets on Sunday morning to keep the metropolitan detention center in downtown Los Angeles. While the demonstrators approached members of the guard, additional uniform officers began to shoot smoke cards in the street.
The LAPD began to shoot the crowd control ammunition towers in order to disperse the demonstrators, who then advanced on Highway 101 and procedure to block traffic until the state police erase the road at the end of the afternoon.
In addition, the demonstrators set fire to at least four autonomous electric vehicles, which leads to explosions of large explosions throughout the chaos as well as intermittent flash fringes which go periodically. Sunday evening, local police had issued an illegal assembly prescription, effectively closing the region of downtown Los Angeles.

“The demonstrators walked to the Los Angeles region and block all traffic lanes on Figueroa and 11th St”, the LAPD published on X. “An illegal assembly has been declared for the downtown Los Angeles region. You must leave the region immediately.”
Trump’s decision to send the US military aroused criticism from local and national politicians, California Governor Gavin Newsom renouncing this decision while promising to continue the administration.
“These are authoritarian trends,” said Newsom in a statement. “It is a question of command and control. It is a question of being able. It is the ego. It is a coherent model. This type has abandoned the fundamental principles of this great democracy. It threatens to consult the judges with which it does not agree, covers the financing of the institutions of higher education, it rewrites history and censures historical facts.”

Newsom arrived Los Angeles Sunday evening to meet state officials and supervise the response to anti-ice events.
ICE said in An article on Saturday on X according to which the agency had arrested 118 illegal immigrants in Los Angeles, including five alleged gang members.

“Why do Governor Newsom and the mayor of Los Angeles Karen Bass care more about violent murderers and sex offenders than protecting their own citizens?” Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary of public security affairs, said in a statement. “These rioters of Los Angeles are fighting to keep the rapists, the murderers and other violent criminals in the streets of Los Angeles. Instead of riots, they should thank ice officers every day who wake up and make our communities safer.”
Bass administration representatives did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital comments.
