Threads is finally getting a DM inbox

Meta-PDG Mark Zuckerberg said today that the Business network threads of the company will finally start testing a DM reception box (direct message) separate from the Instagram DM reception boxes of users. This means that threads will not have to use Instagram applications or change to chat with someone on the platform.

The company will initially test this functionality in limited geographies, notably Hong Kong, Thailand and Argentina, with plans to deploy it soon in other places. The cat function is currently limited to individual conversations, not to group messages.

Although it is good that the threads finally returned a DM reception box available, the company is late to deploy it.
