“Andor” is in the rear -view mirror, and it is safe to think about whether there is ever something in the “Star Wars” all the way. Are served Pre -part of the 2016 “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” (which was the pre -part of himself)Tony Gilroy Shepherd’s Live TV series offered a view of this franchise, unlike what it came from. Rough, politically charged and at no cost saves, it became something special. It is not in a small part of the exhibition’s careful attention to the details, which is reflected in cost choices as viewers may understand.
In an interview with the “actors’ actors” VarietyDiego Luna, who played Cassian Andor, talked about his career with Oscar winner Javier Bardem “No Country for Old Men” and “Skyfall”. During the discussion, “Andor” naturally came to light. As he discussed the practical nature of the exhibition (lack of green displays, etc.) Luna explained that in fact, she and other actors had to wear pretty tight rules:
“The idea of this exhibition is that we tell the story of ordinary people. There is no Jedi. You are in their kitchens and living rooms. You see how they sleep. It’s about people’s regular life in an extraordinary moment. But there are rules: shoelaces. No buttons.
Indeed, while the “Andor” season 2 touched force a littleThere is no Jedi in the series. We are not dealing with Sith. It’s about being in wells with real people who are trying to rise against tyranny in the “Star Wars” galaxy. A lot of thinking went best to describe it on the screen.
Jedi uses excessive robes. Regular people do not. It would be sensible in the heavy galaxy of technology so that shoelaces are not something people deal with. Why would jackets be the buttons when the hypera space trip is possible? These are small things that spectators are unlikely to think about the program, but such small details add, and this is worth building the world.
This kind of attention to details is also not cheap as Gilroy has now confirmed it “Andor” paid his eyes to melting $ 650 million in two seasons. Great many fans and critics are likely to tell you that the money was used well. Is Disney and Lucasfilm never do something like that again in the streaming kingdom? It’s another question completely. But when Luna explained in the interview, the practical nature of the exhibition was not only “cool”, but also served for the actors and ultimately to the viewers:
“I have to acknowledge, it feels cool. I raised to watch” Star War “. We did” Andor “, as in the old days – interacting with droids and machines that the actor expressed through the speaker. [They’re] these great beings, [and so are the] People who work behind the scenes to move them. It’s a child’s dream. No green display. It’s about moving. “
As far as the future of the long distant galaxy, it will be largely on the big screen in the coming years. Right now, “Ahsoka Season 2” that is currently in productionis the only live action “Star Wars” series that is confirmed to move forward to Disney+. In addition, there are several “Star Wars” movies, including “Mandaloria and Grogu” that hits theaters in 2026. After that we have, we have “Star Wars: Starfighter” arrived in 2027, in the main part of Ryan Gosling.
“Andor” now streams in its entirety with Disney+.
