British passenger survives Air India plane crash, reports say

A man survived an India air accident who killed at least 200 people, a police chief told an Indian news agency.

Ahmedabad police commissioner GS Malik told Ani that there was a survivor, who was at 11A on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flight to London.

The flight manifesto shared earlier by the authorities said that the Passenger of the 11A Headquarters was the National Vishwash Kumar Kumar Ramesh.

The Indian media said they had spoken to Vishwash in the hospital and reported it by saying: “Thirty seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise, then the plane crashed. Everything happened so quickly.”

There were 169 Indian nationals, 53 British, seven Portuguese nationals and a Canadian on the flight, said Air India.
