After a 20-win Season in 2024-25, Mike White and the Georgia Bulldogs Are reloading for another Competitive Season in the Sec. Georgia Did Lose Nba-Bound Asa Newell, but do have some significant return and are adding Portal Players and Freshmen. Here’s an Early Rundown on the Georiga Bulldog Squad that’ll Take the Court in 2025-26.
Guard: Blue Cain
The Top Returnee on the Bulldog Roster, Cain Averanged 9.6 Points and 4.2 Rebounds Per Game Last Year for the Bulldogs. A 6-Foot-5 Guard, Cain Shot 34% From 3-Point Range Last Year. With Two Season of Experience and a Year as A Starter in the Sec, Cain’s Experience Figures to be meaningful for the bulldogs. If he can hit the 3-pointer a little more consistly, watch out.
Guard: Jordan Ross
A Steady Point Guard Who Transfers in From St. Mary’sThe 6-Foot-3 Ross Average 8.3 Points and 2.6 Assists Per Game Last Year. He shot just 29% from 3-point ranges, and will need to step up his perimeter game to make a big impact in the sec. Ross Will Haveo Remaining Seasons of Eligibility and Could Be A significant Portalt Find for Mike White.
Guard: Jeremiah Wilkinson
A tranfer from CaliforniaThe Multi-Talened Wilkinson was an impressive scorer as a freshman. HE AVERAGED 15.1 Points Per Game Last YEAR AND WAS ACC Sixth Man of the Year. Wilkinson is a bit of a work in progress as a perimeter shooter. He shot just 32% from 3-point Range Last Year. But he can get downhill in a Hurry and Will Create Instant Offense for Uga.
Forward: Kanon Catchings
A Promising Freshman A Year AGO AT byu, the 6-Foot-9 Catchings was a significant addition for Georgia. HE AVERAGED 7.2 Points and 2.2 BOARDS PER GAME LAST SEASON. Catchings Started 15 Games for byu and Shot 35% from 3-point ranges. His upside is substantial and could make her an important part of the bulldog lineup.
Center: Somto Cyril
The 6-Foot-11 Cyril was a contributor last year as a frehman. Cyril AVERAGED 4.6 Points and 3.8 REBOUNDES PER GAME. He also was sixth in the Sec In Blocked Shots Despite Playing Just 14 minutes per game. The Shot-Blocking is the stand-out skill for cyril, who is a true post player but can contribute more defense and rebounding from day one.
Portal Guards Marcus Millinder (UTSA) and Justin Bailey (Wofford) will probably get shots to play. Freshman Standouts Jacob Wilkins and Kareem Stagg Are Four-Star recruited at Forward and Center and Will Help Out. Returning Forward Dylan James Started Eight Games in Year Ago.
Cain is the veteran here and his experience could matter, but the most exciting addition has been to wilkinson. If he can Approach his 15.1 ppg from last year, it’ll help White and the Bulldogs put up enough points to stay competition. It’s a Solid Georgia Team, but could use Wilkinson to Provide Some Star Power.
