The rhythm of artificial intelligence Innovation increases the challenges for companies like Openai to seize the best talents, according to the new recruitment, chef Joaquin Quiñonero Candela.
“Recruitment has never been so important,” wrote Candela in a Linkedin Post Monday, announcing its new role. “We are subject to unprecedented pressure to grow. If we were a rocket (wait, we are one), we would be in Maxq, maximum dynamic pressure. We are also in unexplored waters.”
Candela, who was previously head of preparation, said companies are counting on managers such as OpenAi while they develop new ways of recruiting talents while improving productivity.
OPENAI and other creators of AI models are in an animated battle against industry competitors to recruit engineers and developers to help implement their AI visions. Last week, Meta-platforms announced an investment of more than $ 14 billion in the IA start -up scale which includes CEO Alexandr Wang joins The social media society. The other key competitors of the AI include anthropic and Alphabet.
Openai has already hired a number of big names.

Candela joined Openai last year as manager of the preparation for the construction of AI systems. He has a doctorate in automatic learning and has spent decades focusing on AI disciplines. He previously worked on Facebook for more than nine years, leading the efforts responsible for the company’s AI and his automatic learning group.
The new recruitment chief said that he was aimed at “helping to build an incredibly capable and aligned workforce on the mission, deeply linked to our values and AG”. He added that the company has almost increased tenfold in the past two and a half years.
