Mario Kart World: How To Unlock Mirror Mode Tracks


Have you ever controlled Mario Kart World’s new race brand? Have you practiced each Wallride and time of time in the game? It may be time to try something new and take up the challenge in mirror mode.

The mirror mode was introduced in Mario Kart 64 and presented itself in each entry of the series from the double dash of the GameCube era. This mode returns each race track through the Y axis so that the left turns become right and vice versa turns. For players who have already mastered the ideal way to derive at each street corner, this reimagination of each course interrupts muscle memory and makes the old races feel again.

In Mario Kart World, players can unlock a version of the mirror mode that allows them to return each cup for a different race experience. You will also have the chance to reflect the free Roam zone, considerably changing one of Mario Kart’s largest features.

How to unlock mirror mode races in Mario Kart World

There is a small list of requirements that you will have to eliminate if you want to unlock the races in mirror mode in this game. You will have to master the existing cuts as well as in depth with the new free Roam feature of Mario Kart World. Here is everything you need to finish to unlock the races in mirror mode in Mario Kart World.

Complete all the cups of great prices and the rallies with direct elimination in 150cc

You will have to beat each current speed of the current speed game to unlock the mirror mode for their tracks. Once you have finished the special cup on 150cc, you will get a notification alongside a small icon of the stadium from the Peach stadium which informs you that you have unlocked the mirror mode. You can choose the mirror mode from the race selection screen – and this notification gives you an index on how to enter the new mode in free roam.

You will have to jump on the Château de Peach and enter the stained glass (top left) in order to enter mirror mode in Roam Free.

How to get into mirror mode in Roam Free in Mario Kart World

The free roam mirror mode will not take as much effort to activate. Instead of filling out a list of requirements, you just have to find a single secret in the open world of Mario Kart World to activate this version of the mirror mode.

To return freely around the Y axis, you will first need to unlock the mirror mode for regular cutting races. After doing this, visit the Peach Stadium track while exploring the world. There is a secret portrait of Princess Peach stained glass that you have to locate on this route.

You can find this portrait of stained glass on the roof of the Château de Peach. Locate one of the parts of the racetrack where you can leave and land on the roof, then climb to the middle of the castle. The portrait is at the front and center of the roof of the castle – you cannot miss it. Drive through the stained glass to activate the free roam mirror mode.

The deactivated mirror mode is as simple as passing again through the fishing portrait.

What are the awards to beat the mirror mode?

Once you unlock the mirror mode, it is natural that you pass through the racing slopes newly returned to each cup of the Grand Prix. Just know that there are no new runners, karts or tracks to unlock by beating the cups with the mirror mode. The only reward you will win is a feeling of pride and renewed accomplishment to meet this challenge.
