During a Sunday service, Swaggart’s son, Reverend Donnie Swaggart, asked the congregation to keep his father in their prayers, saying that only a “miracle” could extend the life of his father.
“In this Father’s Day, we are asking you urgently to pray for brother Swaggart. He needs a miracle from heaven at the moment, this morning. We must intervene in this situation, and we need your prayers,” wrote Donnie Swaggart in an article on her father’s Facebook page.
“It is my rock and my hero and he needs the lord’s healing power today. If I am able to escape, I will try to be at the service to give everyone an update,” wrote Donnie Swaggart in another article.
