Diddy Tells Kanye West To ‘Be Careful’ As He Laments Prison Life

From their call, both rappers seemingly showed respect for each other, with Diddy telling West to get back to making music and “have some f-cking” fun.”

This comes amid Kanye West’s legal standoff with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian after he released music featuring their daughter, North, as well as Diddy and his son, Christian “King” Combs.

West and Diddy gave off major bromance vibes in a recorded phone call obtained by The Shade Room on Monday.

On their call, the embattled rapper, currently locked behind bars at the notorious Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center, encouraged the Yeezy founder to “get behind the mic.”

“When I get out there, man, I want to see you f-cking tear down the stadiums. I need to see you back on that stage, f-cking actually rapping and f-cking performing and everything. I be dreaming of that sh-t,” Diddy told West.

It remains unclear when the conversation between them happened, but Diddy seemingly made sure to warn West to stay out of trouble as he attempted to describe what prison life looks like.

“Tell you real from the front line. This sh-t is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful,” Diddy said. “You can’t do nothing for just… I need you out there, you hear me?”

“I hear you, yes, sir,” West answered, per the Daily Mail.

“And have some f-cking fun. Get behind the mic, have some fun. Chop up them samples, get back on your hitman vibe. Have some fun, get back to smiling,” Diddy added, evoking a smile from the “Vultures 1” hitmaker.

“F-ck these other motherf-ckers. They are wasting your time. Wasting your motherf-cking time,” Diddy said, going on to tell West to “put that love in your heart, man, and enjoy yourself.”

Elsewhere on the call, West seemingly shared a vulnerable moment with the Bad Boy Records founder, decrying how he had gone through a “time where everything was so frustrating,” but he “can’t explain it.”

Diddy responded, “Jump into your bag. (We’re) gonna have years and decades to fight these motherf-ckers. Right now, enjoy your life.”

The father of seven then told West to “enjoy your life” and “fall back in love” with making music like he used to do. “Have a good time and say ‘f-ck the world and all the bullsh-t, man.'”

Diddy added, “I love you man, I appreciate you. And thanks again. I’m gonna see you soon, man.”

West replied: “Yes, sir. That’s how it’s gonna be. You gonna definitely beat this sh-t. And that’s it.”

Diddy is currently scheduled to stand trial in May as he has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

In his call with West, he seemed to have alluded to the upcoming trial, telling the “Carnival” rapper that he’ll be “touching in to tap into your energy or something” as he asked West to play him “some sh-t over the phone” and give him “f-cking” life.”

“This sh-t is f-cking sad. I’m Puff Daddy in jail. This sh-t is f-cking sad as a motherf-cker,” he added. “The devil is a liar.”

He then told West to “keep doing everything you’re doing,” noting, “You got that f-cking freedom.”

“When I get out, and I get that f-cking freedom, woo. I am not caring about nothing but motherf-cking being happy. And I want you to feel that,” Diddy stated.

Elsewhere on the call, Diddy was full of thanks to the “Donda” rapper for caring for his kids while he remains locked up, claiming that nobody has reached out to them since his arrest.

Diddy also warned West to “be careful,” adding, “They (are) definitely trying to end us.”

“I’m gonna beat this sh-t and get next to you,” he said.

Diddy then appeared to speak of his time in jail, saying, “It’s like being left for dead. And only one person (is) coming to do anything to get you. That’s the level of appreciation that I have for you.”

West has been pictured hanging out with Diddy’s son in recent times and also shared his plans to help the embattled rapper make money.

In a previous rant on X, the Yeezy owner disclosed that he was releasing a clothing line in collaboration with Diddy’s Sean John brand, adding that he would be “splitting the profits 50/50” with him.

In his post, West went further to accuse celebrities of leaving Diddy to “rot,” writing: “ALL THESE CELEBRITY N–GAS AND B-TCHES IS P-SSY YALL A WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY SH-T.”

He continued, “THEY TRYNA PROVE A POINT, AND YALL KNOW THAT YALL F-CKING KNOW THAT AND SITTING LAUGHING AT THE F-CKING INTERNET ON INSTAGRAM THIS MAN GAVE HIS LIFE TO US THIS MY IDOL THIS MY HERO.”
