Meghan Markle ‘Devastated’ Amid Backlash Over Her Netflix Show
Meghan Markle has reportedly been left feeling “devastated” over the immense negative reception of her Netflix show.
According to a new report, the royal is even facing “death threats” amid her request to be referred to as “Meghan Sussex.”
Meanwhile, Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow recently dismissed rivalry rumors, expressing support for Meghan Markle and women facing public scrutiny.

Meghan is reportedly struggling to cope with the intense backlash surrounding her new Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” which has been widely criticized by viewers.
The lifestyle and cooking show, which was originally expected to mark a new chapter in her career, has instead been met with harsh reviews, online ridicule, and even disturbing “death threats.”
According to insiders, Meghan, who rebranded herself as “Meghan Sussex” for the series, had high hopes that the show would establish her as a major lifestyle influencer, drawing comparisons to figures like Martha Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow.
However, the overwhelmingly negative reception has reportedly left her feeling “devastated and hurt.”

“Meghan was riding high, full of dreams and aspirations, but it seems like the fall was just as swift as the rise,” a source told Radar Online. “Now, though, she’s feeling entirely crushed, the humiliation still fresh.”
Sources now say there is growing uncertainty about how this setback will affect her future in the entertainment industry.

An insider shared that while Meghan “was prepared for a little negativity, the overwhelming backlash has left her reeling.
They added that the mom of two has also become the target of death threats, noting that “Some of the stuff on message boards, forums, the dark web, and Telegram is really disturbing.”
The source noted: “The comments she has received are off-the-scale, with some people even wishing her dead for pocketing millions of dollars for such a sham show.”
British royal expert Rebecca English even quipped that she “lost the will to live after the episode about making ice cubes” and “couldn’t really work out what she was trying to say.”

The backlash comes on the heels of another setback for Meghan as she had to rename her lifestyle brand after a trademark dispute.
The brand, which was initially called American Riviera Orchard, was forced into a last-minute rebrand called As Ever after the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ruled that the original name couldn’t be trademarked due to its geographic reference.
Meghan announced the name change on Instagram, but insiders say this is one of many hurdles in the brand’s rocky launch.
So far, As Ever has only produced a handful of jam jars gifted to friends in Montecito, with the Duchess of Sussex assuring that large-scale production is on the way.

However, local fruit farmers, jam producers, and food manufacturers within a 100-mile radius of Montecito claim no involvement with her products.
The rebrand came just weeks before the delayed release of her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” which was originally slated for January but was pushed back due to the L.A. wildfires.
Amid the criticisms of Meghan’s show and her As Ever brand, Goop founder Paltrow weighed in and shut down any rumors of competition brewing between them.
In a new interview with Vanity Fairthe “Avengers” star made it clear she has no issue with Meghan despite the backlash surrounding her new Netflix series.
“I don’t know Meghan and Harry,” Paltrow admitted about her relationship with her relationship with the royals.
She continued, “I mean, I’ve met Meghan, who seems really lovely, but I don’t know her at all. Maybe I’ll try to get through their security detail and bring them a pie.”

While Paltrow admitted she hasn’t watched “With Love, Meghan,” she expressed support for women navigating public scrutiny.
“When there’s noise about certain women in the culture, I do have, always, a strong instinct to stand up for them,” Paltrow shared.
Rather than seeing Meghan as a rival, Paltrow welcomes her into the wellness and lifestyle world.
“I was raised to see other women as friends, not foes,” she explained. “I think there’s always more than enough to go around. Everybody deserves an attempt at everything they want to try.”
