New US visa rules require foreign students to unlock social media accounts

The United States Department of State said on Wednesday that it resumed a visa treatment for suspended students, but will now require candidates to unlock social media accounts for a careful examination of the government. Officials will project publications for content deemed hostile to the United States, government or founding principles, the ministry said.
