A hospital in the Israeli city of Beersheba was affected while Iran pulled a missile dam in the country, the conflict between the two nations continuing in a seventh day.
Iran said it had targeted a military site near the hospital, not the establishment itself. Strikes being reported in several places through Israel, the country’s Ministry of Health said 271 people had been injured.
After visiting the Soroka Medical Center Thursday, the Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the Iranian Supreme Chief “can no longer be authorized to exist”.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army said it had targeted Iran’s nuclear sites, including the “inactive” reactor with heavy water and Natanz’s installations.
The conflict started June 13, when Israel has launched attacks on Iranian nuclear sites and killed several nuclear generals and scientists.
Israel’s foreign minister of foreign affairs said Iran at Soroka hospital was “deliberate” and “criminal”.
In an article on X, Sharren Haskel said that the site which was the main medical center in the whole region of the Negev of Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel “would demand the total price of Tehran tyrants.”
While the Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz told journalists: “[Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei openly declares that he wants Israel to be destroyed – he personally gives the order to shoot hospitals. “”
BBC correspondents in the area described the scale of damage as extended, with debris and plumes of smoke floating in the air long after the explosion.
Several districts were completely destroyed while the fire was spread through one of the buildings, which collapsed windows and the ceilings, the hospital authorities said.
About 200 patients will be transferred to other hospitals, Professor Shlomi Codish, Managing Director of the Soroka.
“For the moment, we do not know if buildings or other services can collapse,” he added.
On Thursday morning, an Iranian ballistic missile struck the Ramat Gan business district, east of Tel Aviv – falling a large sheet of glass on several stages of a skyscraper and part of an electric pylon crashed on the ground.
About twenty people were reportedly injured by the region’s explosion, the authorities said.
The Israeli army said that it had told people living in the cities of Iranian cities Arak and Khondab, which are near the reactor, to leave the zone “as soon as possible”, in a post on X, before the attack.
The nuclear installations that have been attacked include a partially built heavy water research reactor.
Heavy water reactors produce plutonium which – like enriched uranium – can be used to make the heart of an atom bomb.
The Iranian media reported that two projectiles struck an area near the establishment. There was no report of cancellation threats.
In a separate announcement, the Israeli army said it had also struck a site in the Natanz region, which he said contains “unique components and equipment used to develop nuclear weapons”.
Israel allegedly alleged that Iran recently “took measures to arm” its enriched uranium stock, which can be used for power plants or nuclear bombs. Iran has always claimed that its nuclear program is completely peaceful.
The Iran’s armed forces said that their response to the Israeli attack would have “no limits”.
He filed a complaint with the United Nations nuclear guard dog, accusing Israel of “continuing his assault and actions contrary to international laws which prohibit attacks on nuclear facilities,” Iranian state media reported.
The latest attacks are involved at a critical moment because President Trump considers the possibility of direct American involvement in the Israel campaign.
The Iranian Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister Kazem Gharibadi warned the United States that Tehran would “have no other option than to use his tools to teach attackers a lesson” if he intervenes in favor of Israel.
Iranian supreme chief Ali Khamenei rejected Trump’s calls to surrender, and Iran threatened to hit American military interests in the Middle East in response.
Trump, so far, has not given any clear indication of his next move. According to the partner of the BBC CBS, he approved plans to attack Iran, but kept the final decision to hit the country.
Trump said on Wednesday: “I can do it, I may not be” when I asked me about American involvement in Iran.
