Defense secretary Pete Hegseth is expected to organize a press conference on Sunday to give updates after the decision of President Trump of Strike a trio of Iranian nuclear sites.
Trump announced on Saturday evening that the United States had launched strikes against Iranian Fordo nuclear sitesNatanz and Isfahan. He said in a National address later Saturday evening that the sites “were completely and completely deleted”.
The president described strikes as a “spectacular military success” and warned against the “much greater” attacks if Iran “does not make peace”.
He said Hegseth, with the president of the Dan Caine joint chiefs, will hold a press briefing on strikes at 8 a.m. HE on Sunday morning.
