The County of Los Angeles Sheriff department modified and removed a social media position on Sunday where he expressed condolences for the “tragic” American bombing of Iranian nuclear sites.
“Our hearts go to the victims and families affected by the recent bombings in Iran,” said the post on X. “Although this tragic event has occurred abroad, the Sheriff’s Department of Los Angeles closely monitors the situation alongside our local, state and federal partners.”
The ministry finally changed the position, which deleted the sentence concerning the American strikes before being withdrawn from X. It was not clear if someone had been injured or killed during the operation.
A spokesperson for the Sheriff Department told Fox News Digital that he was not aware of the initial position expressing his condolences.
