Sean “Diddy” Combs’ The legal team is expected to present its proofs after the accusation rests in the rapper’s federal trial for sexual crimes on Tuesday.
The closing arguments for the trial, which started on May 5 with selection of the jury, should start on Thursday after the lawyers of Diddy explained that they would only need two days to defend their client.
Diddy’s principal lawyer Marc Agnifilo said on Monday, said the defense did not plan to call witnesses, but that the evidence submitted would be discussed in the courtroom.

Diddy’s legal team, led by Agnifilo and GeragosOriginally indicated that they would need more than two weeks to plead their case, but told Judge Arun Subramanian last week that they could rest on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The rapper “last night” should not testify either, and the judge will probably ask Diddy to confirm his decision not to take a stand.

The special agent of internal security, Joseph Ceccielo, continued his testimony on Monday as 34th and last witness to the government. Before Cerciello took up position, the jurors heard the former assistant of Diddy and the alleged “drug mule”, Brendan Paul.
Paul was involved in Diddy’s legal drama in April 2024, after being appointed in a trial filed by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones against the Disgrace magnate. The music producer said that Paul had worked as a “mule” for combs, providing and distributing “drugs and weapons”. The former university basketball star was then accused of possession of criminal cocaine, which was then abandoned.

Paul received immunity in exchange for his testimony in the federal sexual traffic and racketeering trial of Diddy.
Throughout the weeks of testimonies, the jurors heard allegations of “freak off” parties involving male escorts and the ex-girlfriend of Diddy, Cassie Ventura. The singer “Me & U” testified that drugs, in particular ecstasy, ketamine and cocaine, were in regular circulation during the “freak offs” so that she dissociates during the sessions.

Another ex, who testified under the pseudonym “Jane”, told prosecutors that there were times when she felt constrained in hotel nights with Diddy and that the founder of Bad Boy Records still pays for his legal costs and his rents.
Jane recalled that cases of alleged abuse by leaving with Diddy over three years and until the week before her arrest in New York for federal accusations. Jane said to court Diddy asked him questions about coercion after forcing her to take drugs before having sex with a male escort. She testified on the alleged violent behavior of Diddy and declared that he had put her in a strangulation after having struck and struck her.

Combs was billed with racket plot (Rico); Sexual traffic by force, fraud or coercion; And transportation to engage in prostitution in a federal accusation not sealed on September 17.
