Last August, anthropic Published artifacts. The functionality allows Claude Users to create small programmed applications in AI for their own use. Today, Anthropic facilitates the sharing of artefacts. At the same time, this makes the applications that you can create with the more powerful functionality.
To start, the artifacts now have their own dedicated space to which you can access from the sidebar of the Claude application. Here you will find an organized selection of projects carried out by other people to get into your own programs. Each artifact you create will be organized in this space, which makes them easy to find later.
Once you have an idea of what you want to do, the creation of an artifact simply involves typing an prompt. “It is enough to say to Claude an idea to instantly create shareable interactive applications, tools and games with the intelligence of Claude directly integrated, which makes them independently intelligent and reactive,” explains Anthropic.
When using functionality, the company recommends thinking big. This is because you can integrate the capabilities of Claude’s AI in your creations. For example, if you are a student who studies for a language exam, instead of asking Claude to create a set of flash cards, encourages to create a flashcard application. “A request allows you to static study. The other creates a shareable tool that generates cards for any subject,” explains Anthropic.
In particular, Anthropic puts the experience of the artifacts updated available to all users, including those with free accounts. In addition, everyone can share their projects for free with others, without any API cost to do so. Everything you need to access someone else’s artifact is a Claude, free or other account.
The new artefact experience is available on mobile and desk. To access each feature, you will need to use your computer. On Android and iOS, you can create, display, interact with and personalize the artifacts.
