Kopari Performance Plus deodorant for $ 20:: This deodorant smells well – like a floral coconut and beach. It’s cooler than sweet, and I would say it is a unisex-female. It takes place clear and smooth, and he has not stained my clothes at all. However, that did not last me through a training session without reapply, unlike other brands that I tried. I think it’s okay, but I wouldn’t call it a “performance deodorant”. If you are looking for a clear formula and you don’t mind reapply, it could be worth it.
Deodorant embodied in fur for $ 19:: My relationship with this deodorant is as complicated as my relationship with my hair under the armpits. Sometimes I don’t shave him for months; Sometimes I shave it every two days. This deodorant contains ingredients such as willow bark (to avoid embodied hairs) and niacinamide (to brighten up the armpits). It did these two things very well. But that did not do an excellent job to prevent the smell throughout the day, and the smell is very green and earthy, which did not agree with the chemistry of the body. It could really appeal to some people – online examiners seem to like or hate it – so I recommend feeling it in a store before buying.
Curie Clean Deodrant (two packs) for $ 28:: This formula feels well during its first application, but fades quickly after an hour or two. He also stained my clothes more than others that I tried. During my second use, it caused some irritation, so I stopped it. I did not notic by sweating more or less compared to other types of natural deodorant. However, the brand has an excellent Detoxification mask This can help in the transition period when going to the natural deodorant. It will be presented more in evidence in a next guide.
Dove aluminum -free deodorant for $ 11:: Dove’s deodorant is above all good, and I like how affordable it is. But the texture is really smooth and lets my armpits feel strangely sticky, even after having let them dry. Perfumes are not powerful or durable enough for my personal preference. They also all have a powder shade which I was not a fan. I noticed a little halfway during the day during my tests. As is so subjective, your mileage can vary. The packaging was also closed, and the adhesive tape left sticky residues outside my deodorant which was impossible to remove without rubbing alcohol.
Lume whole body deodorant (three packs) for $ 39:: This dear deodorant felt me terrible. I received the invisible cream formula in the cucumber in creation, which felt the pool chlorine and hand soap. I refused to put it on my body. I also received the solid solid formula of Tangerine Clean Tangerine, which initially felt slightly better but which was always a strange school. He left white marks everywhere on my clothes and strangely felt the cheese once applied. I washed it and called my tests carried out. Reader, I love you, but I’m not going to feel the cheese all day just to see if the smell turns into magic after a few hours. The editor -in -chief of commerce, Kat Merck, also tried the invisible lavender cream, and she said that it reminded her of the laundry that had been left during the night in the washing machine – and that the deodorant made her smell worse than she could have worn in the first place. Lume has many fans on the internet, so again, it may be something that can be summed up in personal preferences. I suggest feeling it in a store before buying.
Rechargeable deodorant bite for $ 44:: I like the minimalist aesthetic of this rechargeable deodorant. The elegant metal case is almost miniature and the whole configuration is completely plastic. However, it is easy to push the deodorant stick too high, which can be disorderly if the temperatures are hot. In fact, I found the formula too soft in general, and it tended to become Gunky and Gummeuse throughout the day, both on my armpits and on the case. I also didn’t like the Neroli fragrance. I think that could work well if you want the most minimalist and indescribable natural deodorant as possible, but there are other rechargeable options that smell better and last longer.

Malrant d’Aha Doussrant for $ 12:: I was initially really impressed by the scent I tried from Saltair. The pink beach smells like a summer sunset on the ocean. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts to make it work, I could not apply this formula without my armpits feel sticky and irritated. I used it on clean, dry and hairless skin, and I let my armpits dry completely before lowering my arms. But I had this constant feeling of sticky and sweat irritation which finally led to a rash, so I stopped tests.
How I tested and what’s new
I have been wearing a natural deodorant since 2020. I wore each of these deodorants at least three times – once for a calm day at home and twice during a training session at the gymnasium. I also tested if they stabbed by putting a black t-shirt after the application. I currently test the deodorants of Jukebox and additional perfumes of Megababe, as well as various liquid deodorants AHA.
Common ingredients, explained
Here is an explanation on some of the ingredients you can see in your research.
Aluminum: Natural deodorants mask (generally) the smell and do not focus on reducing perspiration. Anti-verspirants mask (generally) odors and prevent sweat. Prevention of perspiration comes from aluminum salts, which block the sweat channels under your arms. There have been a few studies that have spoken of high breast cancer or the risks of Alzheimer’s disease of the use of aluminum, but there are No final link between them (according to the FDA, the American Cancer Societyand the National Cancer Instituteamong others). It is probably good to use antiperspirants with aluminum. Some renal people are advised to avoid aluminum, and others want to “play safely” and avoid aluminum. As for me, I feel better when I sweat? In any case, it is the drop in aluminum. Tl; DR: Science says it’s for most people.
Parabènes: The parabens are conservatives who have proven to imitate estrogens in the body, but at rates much lower than the natural estrogens of the body. Parabenes are somewhat common ingredients in food, medicine and beauty products, although they are less common because more and more people try to avoid them. Some parabens are prohibited in the EU until more research can be done. THE Fda concluded that parabens are safe. It is relatively easy to avoid parabens if you wish. Most antiporerspirants do not contain parabens; Most natural deodorants do not do it either.
Phthalates: Phthalates make plastic more flexible and durable, and they can also be used in certain beauty products as stabilizers. Some studies have concluded that they are safe; Others suggest links between phthalates and skin irritation, cancer or early death. But these links were not causal. Phthalates have a California Proposal 65 Warning. The deodorants recommended below are phthalate without. Many antiporerspirants contain phthalates, but not all.
Baking soda: Some natural deodorants use baking soda as an absorption agent to prevent sweat and as an antibacterial agent to prevent smell. Some people may develop a rash using bakery formulas, due to the reaction between baking soda and the balance of the natural pH of their body. It is difficult to say if you are sensitive or not to baking soda until you try it, but if you usually have sensitive skin, you may want to try a baking soda baking. We have some recommendations below.
The transition period, explained
When you go from anti -person to natural deodorant, you could go through a transition period that lasts from one to four weeks. In short, after years not to sweat while using anti -personnel, you could find yourself with a much more perspiration while your body adapts when you go to the natural deodorant. It will eventually end, but for me personally, I felt a gym full of teenagers for two weeks. Some people have no transitional phase at all. I also developed an eruption of perspiration so much in the middle of the summer – my skin was irritated, which meant that I could not use deodorant at all, which increases the publicity factor. Now, however, I sweat less than ever when using anti -personnel.
Be ready to hold it. I have a problem with the term “detoxification”, because our body already has a detoxifying process (called the kidneys). However, a clay mask like the Curie detox mask Can be useful to excess humidity and calm the irritated skin that you might feel during the transition period. Otherwise, just keep your armpits dry and be soft for your skin. It will not last forever.
It is difficult to test the deodorant empirically. Perfume preferences vary from person to person, and they can change depending on the chemistry of the body. Some people may prefer a different formula, some people are shaking and some do not do so, and some people care more about the absorption of perspiration than the perfume. Do you take a shower every day? Do you turn frequently? Do you naturally sweat a lot or a little? All these things can take into account whether or not you like a deodorant. Here is what the tables mean below.
Office available: How many perfumes you can choose at the time of the press.
Free of: These ingredients are not in the deodorant.
Force of perfume: “Strong” lasts all day. “Medium” fades halfway through the day. “Faiter” means that it quickly itself or was barely noticeable in the first place.
Level of sweat: “Low” means that I did not notice any sweat. “Medium” means that I noticed sweat but that I did not feel the need to reapplicate the deodorant. “High” means that I sweat a lot and I felt the need to reapplicate throughout the day.
Clothing carketes: “None” means that he has not hit my clothes. “Little” means that it could appear on a black t-shirt. “High” means that it will absolutely appear on your clothes, whatever the color.
Functional ingredients: A list of the main ingredients that help absorb sweat and prevent smells.
Formula details: Is it vegan? Is it a stick, a cream or a roll-on? I will let you know here.
