One of the strangest choices made in the Three previous Jurassic world movies was do not rely Emblematic score of John Williams of the original Jurassic. On the one hand, you understand that the score arouses emotions very specific to this film and will not always be a line with the story told. But, on the other hand, it is a Jurassic movie; Hit us with this kindness of John Williams.
Jurassic World Rebirth, which opens in the rooms of July 2Used Williams’ themes at several times in the film, but it was not a decision that was taken lightly. Io9 spoke to director Gareth Edwards of the decision, who of course also involved the film’s composer, Alexandre Desplat.
“You play the game where you are going,” okay, don’t we do it at all? ” And we tried a version of this, “Edwards told io9. “We tried a version where we got it out completely, and it didn’t feel good. As a fan, it seemed that magic was missing. And so it was like: “Okay, we play it once. Where do we put it? And it was a problem for me, because I wanted the end credits to have the theme … the way the final credits were in Jurassic [Park]. Then you go: “But we don’t really play it in the film”, which is a shame. So we are going to: ‘Okay, let’s play it twice’ ‘, and therefore it found themselves in these two places. But there are obviously two themes, there are [Edwards hums this one] And there is [Edwards hums this one]. So I felt: ‘Okay, we get another token. We can play it elsewhere, “and therefore they are all in very strategic moments.”
But that’s not all. Desplat used some of the work of Williams more subtly at other times. “There are small notes of [the themes] That Alexander made himself on certain moments of character, where he will slightly allude to him and leaves, “said Edwards.” It was really Alexandre. And all the reason for which he wanted to be a composer was because of John Williams, so we would have always had competitions on whom he had the most pressure, because he had to compete with John Williams, and I said to myself: “ Yeah, but I have to compete with Steven Spielberg, so put me back. ” ”.
