Todd Chrisleys Remembers Blaming God For Legal Troubles And Life Behind Bars


Todd Chrisley and his wife, Julie ChrisleyOriginally sentenced to 19-year imprisonment in 2022 for banking and tax fraud. However, the sentences of the Reality TV pair were invalidated through the President’s pardon Donald Trump.

Although Todd Chrisley enjoys his freedom today, Chrisley’s patriarch revealed that there was a difficult challenge behind life – one who even tested his relationship with God.

“I was angry with God,” Todd said in ABC’s new specialty, “Chrisleys: Life after locking.” “And when I went to bed [my first night in prison] And the lights went out, I cried myself to sleep and said, “God, why do you give this?” “

There specialTodd also discussed how his perspective changed dramatically behind the beams.

“You don’t understand the things you took for granted until you don’t have it,” the 56-year-old shared. “So your freedom, your ability to go to church, your ability to go to eat, you know, stay in your bed all day, those things are taken from you, so when you have them back, it’s a blessing.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Todd eventually repeated his feelings free and added that the time behind his bars had changed his views on many things.

“If it didn’t change you, you are not a person,” he said.

And while Trump is sorry for Chrisley, Todd is still jeopardizing the feelings of assault towards the legal system. “I was still convicted of something I didn’t do,” he said.

“It can be you, it can be you, it can be anyone of you, and in some of this room, someone has been a family member that the system has been influenced by. So I understand the shame around it, but I refuse to feed it because shame is like cancer that is just spreading, and I am not a shame.”

In fact, Todd retained his innocence during the ABC, saying, “I have no apology to give you or anyone else the money I deserve.”

A separate interviewTodd also gently talked about President Trump and reminded what he felt as he learned the former Reality Start to the White House.

“We were all glued to television,” “Chrisley knows the best” star for him and his prisoners. “When they finally announced that they were the winner, everyone there started screaming and screaming because they knew, they felt in the spirit that if President Trump wins these elections, we all hope for us.”

Savannah had a similar experience and reminded her “nod” with her brother Grayson Chrisley.

“Grayson and I watched the elections together, and he made the first vote in the election. And when we watched it and saw the president’s victory, we both started nodding,” the 27-year-old shared. “And he just grabbed me and hugged me because we knew it was the only way.”

However, sorry is not necessarily enough to improve all family wounds, as Todd’s eldest son Kyle (from his first wife) previously expressed hoping that his father’s liberation would help their tight relationship.

“I know they can’t wait for their arrival home and just be with the family,” Kyle said, “and I will remain hoped that another reconciliation is possible.”
