Izmir airport suspends thefts, and the authorities evacuate residents while Strong Winds Fan Blaze in the Western province.
Turkiye has evacuated four villages and two districts in its western province of Izmir while the firefighters fight forest fires for the second day, according to local authorities.
Forest Minister Ibrahim Yumakli said on Monday that the fire was stretched overnight by winds reaching 40 to 50 km / h (25-30 MPH) in the Kuyucak and Doganbey of Izmir regions.
Helicopters, fire extinction planes and other vehicles, and more than 1,000 people were trying to put out the fires, Yumakli told journalists in Izmir.
The operations of Izmir Adnan Menderes airport were suspended due to the fire, the Turkish media reported.

Five districts of Seferihisar have been evacuated while the fire approaches the residential areas, added the governor.
The residents of the village of Urkmez were forced to cut trees to create breakfasts and protect their homes, a witness at the AFP news agency said by phone.
A separate fire has ignited in a gaziemir discharge, 13 km (8 miles) from the center of Izmir, spreading to the nearby forest and threatening the industrial zone of Otokent, which is home to several car dealerships.

The coastal regions of Turkiye have been ravaged in recent years by forest fires, because summers have become warmer and drier, that scientists relate to climate change. Last year, the same area in Izmir was also struck by a solid forest fire.
