Queen Latifah recently showcased a noticeable weight loss during an outing to Disneyland with longtime partner Eboni Nichols.
The Oscar-nominated actress has focused on health and wellness, serving as a spokesperson for WeightWatchers’ menopause program and advocating body positivity.

Latifah turned heads during a recent outing to Disneyland, displaying a striking weight loss while enjoying the theme park with her partner, Nichols.
The 55-year-old Oscar-nominated actress opted for a casual all-black look, pairing a hoodie and sweatpants with statement earrings and a baseball cap.
She appeared cheerful throughout the day, laughing and smiling as she moved through the crowds, holding a water bottle and jumping on rides like Space Mountain and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
Latifah and Nichols, who kept their relationship largely private, were accompanied by family and friends, blending in seamlessly with other visitors despite their celebrity status.

The star’s slimmer appearance has attracted attention, reflecting her focus on health and wellness in recent years.
As a spokesperson for WeightWatchers’ menopause program, the “Taxi” actress has been candid about the changes she’s experienced during this stage of her life.
“Menopause has been a new adventure for me, one that has changed the way I view and care for my body,” she explained. “It showed me how important it is for women to have support that truly understands this stage of life. That’s why I’m proud to be the spokesperson for the new WeightWatchers program.”
Latifah added, “For decades, WeightWatchers has helped women live healthier, more confident lives, and now they’re leading the way again with care designed for menopause.”

Throughout her career, Latifah has emphasized that overall wellness, strength and longevity are more important than a specific number on the scale.
She’s also a long-time advocate for body positivity, openly discussing her experiences as a plus-size woman in Hollywood.
In a 2021 interview, she revealed that she had been pressured to lose weight for roles but refused to give in.
“I was literally asked to lose weight, through my people, the message came,” she said. Daily Mail. “Luckily, I have people who tell me, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to happen. She’s not losing weight for you.'”
The “Beauty Shop” actress has always served as an inspiration to plus-size women, using her platform to challenge unrealistic beauty standards.

“It made me angry because I felt like I was fine. I am what people look like,” she recalls. “You want me to lose weight? Why? So there’s a whole bunch of women who don’t have anyone to relate to on TV, is that what you’re trying to say?”
She added: “Honestly, I knew that by standing up, I was defending other people.”

In an interview with Entertainment tonightLatifah said she was pressured to lose weight while starring on the Fox sitcom “Living Single,” where she played Khadijah James from 1993 to 1998.
Despite industry expectations, she resisted: “Here we are, four different women, four different body types, and we had to lose weight. If anything, it made me angry and discouraged, but it really made me angry. I said, ‘We are what women look like, we’re not going to lose weight no matter what idea we have of what we’re supposed to look like.'”
Born Dana Owens, Latifah credits her mother with instilling self-love in her from a young age. She remembers being “the biggest girl in her class” and facing weight shame at school, but her mother taught her that true love comes from within.
“Love yourself anyway, love comes from within,” her mother said.

Since 2021, Queen Latifah has partnered with healthcare company Novo Nordisk to raise awareness about obesity and its broader health impacts, emphasizing that weight issues go far beyond appearance.
The “Equalizer” alum has focused on educating the public about the links between obesity and cardiovascular disease, drawing on her own personal experiences with weight management.
For Latifah, the cause is deeply personal. She shared with People Magazine that the campaign is inspired by a cousin who struggled with morbid obesity.
Latifah said witnessing her cousin’s struggle and “how she fought for her life” motivated her to take action, saying she couldn’t stand idly by and not contribute to the cause.
She described the physical and emotional suffering her cousin endured: “I watched her fight for her life for years, dealing with cardiovascular problems, blood clots and different types of things that were happening to her body, and fighting and then falling back, and just the challenges because she was also dealing with a lot of mental challenges…”
She also emphasized that obesity is not just an individual problem, but affects many members of her family, including herself. Latifah explained that if raising awareness and providing information can help even one person, it is worth it.
