A few days before its global conference for 2025 developers (WWDC), Apple appointed the winners and finalists of its 2025 design prices for applications.
This year’s winners and finalists mainly include independent applications and startups, and contrary to the trend everywhere else, AI applications are visibly lacking in the list. This is the second consecutive year that Apple jumped AID Applications for its prices.
However, the company has highlighted certain applications with AI features, including Discuss (has won in the inclusive category), and a musical creation and editing application Modes (Both are startups supported by a company).
Unsurprisingly, Apple focuses more on how developers have used its tools to create better experiences.
The company appointed 12 winners (an application and a game in each) in six categories: pleasure and pleasure, innovation, interaction, inclusiveness and social impact. In its list of finalists this year, Apple highlighted A large number of applications and games of small developers from around the world.
MonitoringWho helped share information during California forest fires won the prize in the social impact category. In the meantime, Play of the prototyping tool for developers supported by M13 received the best application in the innovation category.
