Celebrate 10 Years of Perfectly Adorable Pop Culture Art From Scott C

You can’t be mistaken about Scott Campbell’s works. It’s funny, it’s colorful, and even if it may seem simple, it always captures a moment of nostalgia for pop culture In a few quick brush strokes. Campbell is best known for his current series called Large eventsthat we have previously covered on the site. But, confrontations are not the only thing it does. He also makes works on a large scale, creates books and helps with concept concepts – and everything has built up to a great epic and mega spectacle, which occurs this weekend.

His name is rightly called “The Big Show” and he opens at 6 p.m. on June 7 in New York. It will be your first chance to buy big and small original, impressions of several new parts (including the Steven Spielberg and Hayao Miyazaki pieces below), and more. He will then remain exposed until June 28, with leftover online at 1 p.m. in June 12. Click here for the Address, hours and more.

Basically, however, it is a spectacle that celebrates all of Campbell’s work, which goes from the immense collections of pop culture and original concepts, book illustrations, etc.

“I have had exhibitions in the past to celebrate the outings of my book and various other popular culture and conceptual experiences, but I have never had any exhibition that encompasses all these worlds together,” Campbell told io9 by e-mail. “I have accumulated a whole set of work over the past 10 years of various projects and I have experienced many life changes to spend in Los Angeles to meet my wife and start a wonderful little family. The influences for the stories and ideas of these paintings have evolved over the years with these experiences. The right time to think about all of this.

Below, we have images of some of the more than 100 paintings of original watercolors, sculptures, prints, books, pins, etc. who are in the show. Several of them are new, but most of the pieces have already been published. They have never been exposed or to sell in their original form.

Presented by Spoke Art, “The Big Show” opens at 6 p.m. on June 7 at Harman Projects, 210 Rivington St., New York, Ny. He will then remain exposed until June 28, with leftover online at 1 p.m. HNE on June 12. Click here For more information.
