A Squid Game Actor Starred In An Underrated Western Inspired By Clint Eastwood

Kim Jee-Woon’s 2008 Western-Wedded “The Good, The Bad, The Weird” lives in all three adjectives. This title, of course, was inspired by Sergio Leonen celebrates in 1966 Western “good, bad and ugly”, “ The movie that acted – in their moral roles – Clint Eastwood, Lee van Cleef and living Wallach. As any Cineaste can tell, Leone’s classic, set in 1862, is about three protagonists looking for a hidden confidence in the cemetery hidden cache. The film lasts 161 minutes (or 171, if you watch the director surgery) and have many violent, pikaresque adventures on their way to a famous three-way shooting.

In Kim’s film, three headlines are also played-equivalent-Jung Woo-Sun, Lee Byung-and Song-Kang-Ho, although it takes place in the Manchuria wilderness in 1939 just before the widespread outbreak of World War II. Like Leone’s film, however, “strange” is largely about three principles of the buried treasure. This time it is a map whose “bad” character tries to steal from a Japanese train, just a “strange” character. Poor (called Park Chun-Yi) is about to target a “good” character (called Park Do-Wan), a pure cordial reward hunter who is interested in the reward like treasure charts.

The treasure is eventually revealed in the remains of the Qing dynasty, which ended only in 1912. This is similar to Leone’s original historical themes about the racist history of the US Civil War.
