Apple says 82% of compatible iPhones are running iOS 18


Apple said Thursday that more than 82% of compatible iPhones are running its latest smartphones operating system, iOS 18. This is going as 68% in January.

The company revealed iOS June 18 at WWDC and started deploying it to users in September 2024. The iPhone XR / XS and new models can execute iOS 18.

It should be noted that Apple accounts all the different versions of iOS 18 as one for these measures, it is therefore not clear how many iPhones perform the latest version of iOS 18.

The company also said that 71% of eligible iPads now run iPados 18.

Apple has indicated that more than 88% of iPhones released in the past four years operate by iOS 18, compared to 76% in January. About 81% of iPad published in the same period of time perform iPados 18.

The company did not specify any use number for Apple Intelligence.
