Apple’s new TVOS 26 is here, and the only feature I can’t wait to try has nothing to do with television. HAS WWDC 2025Apple has introduced “song” sessions, which resemble a traumatic summer camp experience, but is actually a new cool karaoke functionality that I look forward to testing for myself.
According to Apple, the functionality allows you to transform your iPhone into a “portable microphone” which can be used on Apple TV to amplify your voice for karaoke and “belt [your] favorite songs. “The singing sessions also allow other singers to” make the edge of songs or react with emoji on the screen “, so you can make the queue of karaoke, although there is nothing to prevent your application of Karaoke from making the queue. Can read, understand and sing.
As excited as I try to sing, I am also skeptical that a micro iPhone is the ideal equipment for karaoke – there is a chance that it seems badly if you have an older device (like me). Again, many people use fairly cheap bluetooth microphones at home and do not beat a eyelash, so their experience can really be equal here. The good news is that if the karaoke does not do it for you, Apple has introduced other new TVOS features, such as the one that grants more control when the option of choosing a profile appears. It should be great for all those who are in a household for several people. Apple says: “… users will now have the choice to automatically display profiles when Apple TV wakes up, allowing them to quickly return to their recommendations and the monitoring list in the TV application and the reading lists in Apple Music.”
There are also some front -time adjustments, which include the “contact posters” on Apple TV which show the personalized photo and name of contact when you start a facetime call and an expansion of live legends which include French, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Spanish. Facetime Audio and the call notifications will now appear on the screen according to the profile used at the time.
It’s a story in development …
