Argentina to put 10 accused in 1994 bombing on trial in absentia

Ten Iranian and Lebanese nationals will be tried in the absence in the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, an Argentinian judge ordered Thursday – the first trial of this type since an amendment to allow suspects to be judged even if they were carried out in March under the Argentine President Javier Milei, a fervent ally of Israel.
