Ariel Winter Puts Her Life On The Line To Help Catch Online Child Predators

The 27-year-old actress has collaborated with SOSA, an uninitiated organization (safe on online sexual abuse) to help fight the ever-growing problem of young children’s online element.

Ariel Winter has participated in the secret pisto operation of the “Sosa Undercover” of Sosa’s true crime document, where he played the role of a 12-year-old girl to prey on predators who were trying to take advantage of minors online.

The actress continued to explain that while pretending at the age of 12 and interacting with older men can be scary, work is valuable. “It is validate to put the predators who have hurt children.”

Sosa, a non -profit organization dedicated to the protection of minors, directly exploiting online, directly with law enforcement authorities to perform secret activities to identify and arrest children’s predators.

According to winter, the need for such activities is poor. “As I grow up in the entertainment industry, I have been a girl we try to save,” he said. “It is vital to me to help protect young women from the experiences I suffer in my own life.”

The dangers of online element have never been more common, as platforms like social media, game applications and photographs are made more vulnerable to children and teenagers. Winter explained the difficulty of finding these predators, pointing out how they often use false identities and to carefully hide their true intentions.

“Someone is hard to find because they do not use their right name or processing, and we have to do research who these people are,” he explained. “I was surprised by the number of men who wanted to talk to young girls. It’s hundreds of thousands of men.”

One of the most shocking implementations of the winter was the normal performances of the Predators.

“These men don’t look like predators. They look like an adjoining guy. They are usually married to children and have pets. They look nice because they talk about their daily lives, but they try to meet with a 12-year-old girl,” Winter shared.

He reminded one case where at the age of 40 he tried to take an 11-year-old girl to buy a new bra. “It’s not normal. It’s not good.”

The emotional record of winter participation in these operations has been considerable.

“This whole experience has been heartbreaking because I think about how young these girls are and much older men are approaching,” he said before expressing his concern to young girls who are often lonely and turn to the Internet, just to get predators.

“Children are looking for online relationships because they are lonely or tired and then they find a man and think that they can connect with them without realizing that they are so much older and are really predators with bad intentions,” Winter said.

Winter’s journey to this work is deeply rooted in his own experiences. After arriving at the entertainment industry at a young age, he remembered receiving inappropriate messages from older men when he was on a laptop or mobile phone.

“The film and TV industry is a dark place,” Winter said, pointing out how his experienced trauma led him to seek therapy.

His partnership with SOSA is part of his constant commitment to help prevent such abuse. “I like working with Sosa because women help women,” he said, emphasizing his dedication to continue this work as long as he can.

Roo Powell, the founder of Sosa, thanked the efforts for the winter, recognizing that his support is essential for the non -profit.
