Two firefighters were killed and another was injured in an ambush of elite shooters on Sunday afternoon. The authorities then located the body of a deceased man with a nearby firearm and raised the order of the refuge on the spot which had been in place.
THE Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office The said firefighter teams responded to a fire at Canfield Mountain just north of the heart of Alene around 1:30 p.m., shots were reported about half an hour later.
In the audio of the scene, a firefighter said that there was an “emergency situation” and an “active shooter”.

“We need the police here immediately,” the firefighter told a distributor, adding that there were “two battalion leaders”.
“We have another firefighter from Alene below … We have two insensitive battalion leaders, several ball wounds, two hearts from Alene are broken … I am pinned,” said the appellant.
The appellant also says that the fire “was intentionally put to attract us”.
“It is clear to me that this fire was intentionally fixed to attract us,” said the caller.
The sheriff of the county of Kootenai, Robert Norris, said at a press conference later Sunday afternoon that two firefighters had been killed and that another was fighting for his life, but in a stable state, after being operated.
The authorities then located the body of a deceased man with a firearm near the hours after the ambush. (KHQ)
The authorities found the body of the elite shooter suspected using information on the mobile phone.
Due to the danger, firefighters had to withdraw and the brush fire continued to build a threat.

Idaho governor Brad Little said that “multiple” firefighters had been attacked during the incident.
“Multiple heroic firefighters have been attacked today while responding to a fire in the north of Idaho,” he wrote on X. “This is a odious direct assault on our brave firefighters. I ask all the Idahoans to pray for them and their families while we expect to find out more. Teresa and myself.

FBI’s deputy director Dan Bongino said the agency had responded to the scene with technical teams and tactical support.
