Design
Belkin load box for switch 2 does not deviate too far from the Official version of NintendoBut there are a handful of subtle but welcome improvements. It has a polyester exterior (available in gray, green and tanning) with reinforced sides and a soft velvet interior. There is a zipper that runs along the perimeter with Belkin, including an interior lining to prevent any metal from coming into direct contact with switch 2. There are also cutouts and withdrawals that allow the console to snuggle up in complete safety. Belkin did a good job to provide a secure adjustment without too much room for maneuver.
The only small drawback to this is that if you plan to use a bulky skin or sleeve, things can be extra-tight (or not to match at all). But for people like me who prefer to keep their bare devices, it’s an excellent companion. As for sustainability, even if I do not want to risk my switch 2 by dropping it from a building, I pushed the console of a table a few times when it was hidden inside the case without it undergoing damage.
Battery package
OK, but what about the load part? Instead of joining the battery in the housing itself, Belkin kept incredibly simple things. The kit is delivered with a battery included and a cut with a strap to make sure it does not slide in transit. Admittedly, this is not the most elegant solution, but it is simple and effective while offering you the flexibility to charge other devices if necessary.
Now, it is possible that if Belkin opted for a battery integrated in the case, there may have been room to add more capacity. But at 10,000mAh, I have the impression that the kit establishes a good balance between size and longevity. With the Switch 2 with a 5,220 mAh cell, Belkin’s power pack has enough juice for almost two complete recharges. In addition, because it is removable, if you need to complete something other than a 2 switch, you can simply enter the battery and leave the case behind.
I appreciate that Belkin has not cut too many corners either. The pack offers two USB-C ports which support load and recharge. The speeds are also decent, with the battery capable of sending up to 20 watts, which is similar to if switch 2 was connected to the wall (although it is closer to 15 watts in real life). You can even recharge two devices simultaneously, but because you divide the outing, things will take a little more time. There is even a practical integrated screen, so you never have to guess the amount of juice remains in the tank. And thanks to a cable included with a right angle connector and a small channel for the cable inside the case, it is super easy to keep all treated and ordered during the load.
Some other small but useful details on the Belkin housing include a mesh pocket to hide small accessories such as cables. Do not jerk too much there, otherwise you can exert additional pressure on the console. There is also a flap with elastic pockets that can store up to 12 game cartridges. But my favorite feature is the Airtag compartment hidden behind the mesh on the right, which allows you to put a tracker inside without it being super obvious.

The Belkin Charging affair for Switch 2 is not very sophisticated. But since it costs $ 70, it’s very good for me because it has everything you want with a basic case with a very practical bonus. It looks good, the Switch 2 fits well inside and unless you are something like a strong pelican box, it offers more than enough protection against bumps and everyday tumble.
In a way, I wish Belkin sold a version that does not come with a battery for anyone who wants to use his own power pack.
