Books I’ve read lately – The Fitnessista

Sharing a summary of the books that I read recently and if they are worth adding to your collection.

We appreciated all the adventures of Seville, going to bed at least midnight all the powers, then sleeping every day. It is.been.amazing. I managed to spend a reading time before bed and exploded four pounds. Two were horrible and two were excellent. I share summary below and I would like to know what you enjoyed this summer!

Books that I read recently

The Warsaw orphan by Kelly Rimmer

He absolutely destroyed me. It takes place in the Second World War in Poland and followed a teenager who is starting to pass Jewish children out of the ghetto. The writing is magnificent, and even if the subject is heavy, it is the kind of book that remains with you long after having finished it. I highly recommend if you are in mood for something emotional and powerful. 9/10

The main character is about to marry what seems to be a “perfect man * but meets his old boyfriend (who broke his heart). The sparks start to fly and it ends up being “what could have been” with one side of family dynamics and summer nostalgia. I loved the idea of ​​this second chance romance book and the author is wonderful (Nora Goes off script is one of my favorite beach readings), but it was boring and slow for me. I had to force myself to finish it. 2/10

Wedding people by Alison Spach

This one is super popular, and I found it completely chaotic. A woman presents herself in a fancy hotel and ends up being wrapped in “wedding people” who took over the property for an entire week. It seemed really different from everything I have read lately, but it was not necessarily a good thing. I continued to wait for great relevance or a moment, and it was simply flat for me. The end does not even compensate for the slog of a reading. 2/10

For the love of friends by Sara Goodman Confino

This one was hilarious, which I expected because all SGC’s books literally make me lol. A woman agrees to be a bridesmaid in five marriages (why ??), and she begins to blog anonymously on all the ridiculous things that happen along the way. Think about the moments of bridal, ugly dresses, a lot of juicy drama. It was a fun and light reading that still had a few deeper moments. It was exactly what I was looking for in a Vacay reading and I loved it. 9/10
