Britain appoints first woman to lead spy agency MI6 in historic move




Great Britain appointed Blaise Mereweli, 47, as the first woman head of secret intelligence service, known as Mi6. Currently, agency technology manager, or “Q”, Mereweli joined in 1999 and has occupied key operational roles across the Middle East and Europe, the government announced on Sunday.
