Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Double XP Weekend Dates Announced

Are you still trying to grind out the season 2 battle pass? Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch has your back with a new double XP weekend. This event will feature a “quad feed” double XP boost where players can blast through prestiges, level up new event weapons, earn some rare GobbleGums and tear through the season 2 battle pass. The latest double XP weekend runs from Friday, March 28, to Monday, March 31.

Anyone playing Black Ops 6 will have a universal double player XP, double weapon XP and double GobbleGum earn rate applied to their account during the event. This double XP weekend also includes a double battle pass XP boost, helping players grind out tiers much more quickly as Black Ops 6 season 2 winds down.

Double weapon XP will help players level up the PPSh-41 SMG from the season 2 battle pass and the TR2 marksman rifle from the season 2 Shadow Hunt event, while the double GobbleGum drop rate will net players more of the new Dead Drop, Modified Chaos and Quacknarok GobbleGums.

This double XP weekend kicks off on Friday, March 28, at 1 p.m. ET.

It’s worth starting your game ahead of your gaming session, if possible — as with every Black Ops 6 patch, the update is going to require you to download new content and restart the application.

When does the Double XP Weekend end in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?

Some double XP “weekends” are much longer events, lasting five to seven days. That’s not the case with the latest event. This double XP weekend will end on Monday, March 31. Your double XP tokens will once again unlock after this time.

Does Call of Duty Warzone have double XP this weekend?

Call of Duty Warzone has a double XP weekend running in tandem with Black Ops 6. That means Warzone players will also be able to benefit from the double player XP and double weapon XP.

New players have a chance to level up the weapons they unlock from the new and improved Warzone Armoryand returning players can continue unlocking new attachments for the suite of Black Ops 6 weaponry added to Warzone.
