Cardi b shared the news that his highly expected Sophomore album called “Am i The Drama?” Comes to streaming services in September 2025. However, when some music fans noticed that the 23-piece song contained singles “Wap” and “Up”, they invited three mothers to try to increase their sales.

“Bro, F-CK Outta here with this Payola Sh-T”, one user wrote on X, former Twitter. “No fan of a true music or artist must accept this flue.”
“Adding single games five years ago because all your new tanks are so embarrassing,” another user sent.
The third commentator also cheated, criticizing the former “Love & Hip Hop” stars in trying to “undo the numbers”.
They added, “These songs are 4-5 years old. It’s not a strategy. It’s a cushion.”

However, Cardi B does not seem to blow the chat. In fact, he uploaded his long mail to X, clarifying why he decided to incorporate two of his most popular singles in his Sophomore project.
“This is the last and only time I am going to deal with this,” he started before he said that his supporters have asked him to include his album “Wap” and “UP” for years. “They deserve a home,” he said.
Cardi B even claimed that the dispute around Megan The The Stallion’s 2020 single, “Wap”, prevented him from sending a song for a Grammy award. “… at this point I give my fans what they want!” He added.

“These two pieces are not even counted for the first week, so what’s even crying ???” He continued. “Do you say anything when all these artists pull all their little tricks and ponies to sell ???”

And despite the criticism, Cardi B has received some support from fans, defending its decision to include its new album 2020 and 2021 singles.

On Sunday, June 22, Cardi B first teased on Instagram that her Sophomore album would be available to the audience soon.
In the teaser, “Bongos” rapper said, “Seven years and has come time. Seven years of love, light and loss. For seven years I gave them grace, but now I give them a hell.”
He went on, “I learned that the power would not let, it takes. I have shed feathers and no longer tears.”
“I’m not back,” he added, “I’m outside. I’m not your thread, I’m your karma. Time is here. Time is now.”
Days before “” am I a drama? Cardi B also gave the fans a taste of what they could expect from the next LP when he released his latest single “outside”.
In the previous interview, he revealed that he created the track some time ago when he was “very angry”.
“I had to change some bars because I was angry, gold,” he added.

Cardi B also discussed how his next album differs from his first project, “Invasion of Privacy”, which was released in 2018.
“I feel like it’s unexpected, and I feel like it’s something that is not really outside,” he continued. “It’s going to be things that people expect me and many things that people don’t expect from me.”
He also repeated this feeling after “IOP” into a global hit, saying that he believed that some people “boxed me”.
“I just wanted to show people that no, I could do different things. And besides, I’m proud that I could be a woman in my album, do you know?” He said.
