THE Indiana fever did not have to come to the defense of Caitlin Clark this time, but the Golden State Valkyries did not facilitate it Thursday evening.
Clark, who came out of a game that involved a lot of extracurricular activities after the whistle between her and the Connecticut Sun, was not her usual lively self in the defeat of the 88-77 fever against the Valkyries on the road.
Clark Shot Only 3 of the 14 on the field, including his seven attempts of three stranded points passing through the hoop, while the fever ended up blowing up a 13-point lead in this match to fall to 6-6 on the year.

Clark collected 11 points, nine assists and seven rebounds, while turning the ball more than six times towards Golden State.
While Clark fought beyond the arc, his teammates did not behave much better. As a team, the fever only drew 8 out of 29 from Tree Land, with Sophie Cunningham, who had been nicknamed Clark’s “Bodyguard” on the field after the previous match against the sun, being the only one of his attempts.

Meanwhile, the Valkyries, directed by the night of 16 points by Kayla Thornton with five three points, now have the same 6-6 file.
Golden State also experienced major contributions on the bench, with Tiffany Hayes (14 points, five assists, three rebounds), Chloe Bibby (12 points, three rebounds, a pass) and Laeticia Amihere (10 points, three rebounds, three assists) helping all their team to overcome a two -digit deficit at the end.
For Indiana, Aliyah Boston led the team with 17 points, while Kelsey Mitchell (16 points) and Natasha Howard (13 points) all landed two -digit in this category. However, turnover played an important factor in fever by losing their lead, because the Valkyries forced 17 in total while engaging only seven.

This unusual performance of Clark comes specifically after being pushed into the eye and being pushed to the ground in a very physical Wgb Tuesday evening of the commissioner of the commissioner’s cup against the sun.
Clark was kept by Jacy Sheldon when the solar custody pushed it in the eyes, and the fever superstar retaliated by pushing it back.
This led to the MABREY Marina of the Sun and pushing Clark to the ground while her back was turned. A skirmish broke out, but it would not be the end of the two teams.
Later in the match, Cunningham finished Sheldon as she was trying to score a basket in the fourth quarter, and this degenerated to the point where the two players were ejected after their physical altercation under the hoop.
