‘2025 Bet Awards’ still cause mixing days after the exhibition. Gospel singer Deitrick Haddon is now sharing his thoughts, taking social media to express his frustration Glorilla Won the ‘best gospel/inspirational’ prize. Haddon made the Internet exit with reactions when he claims that the gospel industry is “dying” and needs great shaking after BET’s recent ceremony.
On Tuesday, June 10, Deitrick Haddon moved to Instagram on a message by getting a few things to get on his chest. He is tired of saying that the gospel music industry is desperately needs to renovate after a glorilla victory. She spilled in a passionate video “The gospel music industry needs renovation. Period. After last night’s exhibition, it is an indication that we only need the perfect reset. “
Haddon’s questions are with the Bobby Jones Awards award for artists who do not really represent the gospel music. Apparently, Glor had a perfect example. His winner of his song ‘Rain down is me’, is Kirk Franklin And technically the gospel track. However, Haddon suggested that one record of faith and God should not make you overcome the best gospel/inspirational.
“It’s hard to watch Bobby Jones’ gospel reward for someone who is not in mode”, “ He added. “No respect for the artist, but it is not the space in which he is.” The 52-year-old believes that the genre is too small to give prizes to outsiders who, in his view, are hugely damaged by industry growth.
Due to the caption he included, Haddon continued to unleash his deep love for the gospel music and frustration in its current state. He expressed that the genre had given him a purpose and “a reason to sing”. But at this point, he is tired of seeing the talented gospel artists who are marginalized from industrial policy and thus lack the same type of recognition.
“We cannot constantly respect the same people every year and expect the genre to grow,” he wrote. “I’ve heard behind the scenes of crying. People are tired. Culture is changing, but the system is stuck. Gospel music deserves better. The next generation deserves better. We all do.”
The rooms rusted in the comment section TSR’s messageFor some, it was not that Glor had a complete contract at the beginning of the class. Others defended the ‘Wann Be’ lyricist saying that Haddon needed to get over it. Take a look at some of the comments below …
