When Jennifer Lopez dazzles on stage and still controls the headlines, he and Ben Affleck Adapt to life after use. A couple who was once one of Hollywood’s most iconic love stories finished his divorce in February, just a month before Affleck decided to break the silence.
In an honest interview GqThe “Argo” star explained that while fans may look for a dramatic explanation or some hidden deception, the truth behind their splitting is much less sensational. “I think there is a tendency to look at breakdowns and want to recognize the root causes,” Affleck shared. “But honestly … the truth is a lot of quotidia as probably people would believe or be interesting.”
Affleck continued that their breakdown was not the result of blowing from fighting or a shocking event.
“There is no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue,” he said. “It’s just a story of people who try to find out their lives and relationships in ways that we usually do.”
He added that while their journey may seem unusual to the audience, at its core, it was like any other relationship that tried to find its way through the complexities of life.
“It really sounds like a couple of therapy sessions,” he joked. “What, you would tune someone else’s pair of therapy in a moment.”

Affleck also admitted that the actual reasons behind their division seem too personal to share completely.
“The reason I don’t want to share is just kind of embarrassing,” he said. “It feels vulnerable.”
His honesty is in the opposite of Lopez’s own match in his documentary, “The biggest love story never told,” who chronicly their returned romance. Although Affleck appeared in the project, he has made it clear that the real story of their breakdown was not hijacked on the camera.
Now that Lopez is back in the spotlight and Affleck, which offers a tacit reflection, the former couple seems to focus on moving forward, separately, but still in the eyes of the audience.
