The 99-year-old star was to host the event on Saturday with his wife Arlene Silver, but she could not participate in her not knowing well.

Dick van Dyke cancel the performance at VANTY Camp event due to illness
In his speech, Silver spoke to the audience and distributed the disappointment news.
He explained that his husband had no “good day” and could not join them. “I have to inform you that Dick is not going to come to celebrate with us today,” he said, Daily mail. “I’m sorry.”
Silver continued to explain that at the age of 99 and half a year, Dick van Dyke has both good and bad days. “When you are 99 and a half years old, you have good and bad days,” he said. “And unfortunately today is not a good day for him, and he is sick that he can’t be here.”
“Congratulations to this great person,” one of his fans said after hearing the news.

Despite his absence, Dick Van Dyke appeared through a straightforward during the event.
Silver expressed its confidence that the iconic actor would be in person in person in the next Vandy camp. She also used the opportunity to talk about her husband’s deep passion for the event, emphasizing that this is much more than just Dick van Dyke.
“This is a celebration of your childhood, our whole childhood, the music that is in the fabric of all of us, and Dick van Dyke is a big part of it,” he said.
