Hi friends! How are you doing? I hope you spend an incredible morning. We are here in Seville who have a good time with our friends and that we enjoyed cold time after our trip to Barcelona, Epic Disney Cruise through the Mediterranean and time in Barcelona after the cruise. I hope your summer also left wonderful!

For today’s post, I wanted to share a summary of the cruise! You know that we look Disney Cruises – I never thought I would be a cruise person in general, but we are there – and it was a route that I wanted to do for years. I was a blitz through all my favorite places (so far): Spain, Italy and France. It was an absolute dream.
Disney Fantasy Spain, Italy and Recaps France
We have booked this trip with some of our closest friends and our cruising friends – I think it was Disney Cruise # 17 for them. We had planned this trip * Hoping * that the pilot would have finished with the training of airlines – he had to finish the training when He retired from the army And returned to advertising – but unfortunately, the calendar did not quite work. As he would have left anyway, we decided to stay with our plans and enjoy a girl’s trip. I think girls will always remember this solo cruise trip with only the three of us and incredible friends.
Disney Fantasy Verandah Room
We have had a veranda room and in the past, we did not take advantage of it as much as we should. This time, I spent a lot of time on the veranda drinking coffee and reading, or a happy hour at the end of the afternoon with Kathryn because their room was right next to it.
It was spacious and charming, and Disney bedding is just an A + all around. It is softer and more luxurious than most hotel beds. (They use Frette Linens, which we ended up buying after our first Disney cruise because we loved them so much.)

Shows and entertainment
Disney offers incredible Broadway quality shows and entertainment of musicians, actors, bridge festivals with characters and dancers and films. During our cruise, they had three Broadway style shows: Aladdin, believe, And Frozen. P and I ended up abandoning two so that we can climb the lag of water again and again – the swimming pool is empty during the shows and the time of dinner – but Frozen was incredible. It was the best Elsa I have ever seen. She absolutely crushed him.
We were also able to see the new Lilo and point Film aboard the date before its official release! We all loved it. It was sincere and funny, and I almost cried several times.
Eat and eat gluten without Disney cruise
From what I hear, Disney is one of the safest cruises if you have food allergies. They take them very seriously, and even if you have a sensitivity or intolerance in relation to an allergy, they treat it as an allergy. We have made a gluten -free food visit to Barcelona, and a girl from our group who celiac told me that Disney Cruises gives her the impression of being able to eat everything she wants, which is a rare treat.
The GF Chocolate Walnut Torte is my favorite Disney Cruise dessert:
In the past, I have just sailed in the menus by myself because they are clearly marked with gluten-free options. Since P is GF now too, I told them that we both had gluten sensitivities (and I was clear that we are not allergic, Mine is for a health reasonsand P has severe sensitivity)They went beyond.
They had hot gluten -free rollers at the table every night, and you would pre -order every night for the next day. They can make one of the regular menu * menu * without gluten with the prior notice.

We also had to have gluten -free mickey waffles and churro waffles in the morning. Bless him.
Port adventures and excursions
I went too zealous with port adventures because they were so beautiful places. You can’t be in Pisa and not get off the boat, you know? They were long excursions the first two days (about 10 hours) but the girls were soldiers.
Here is what we did:
Rome by yourself
That was all. You jumped on a bus for about 2 hours trip to Rome, they dropped you to enjoy your life for 5 hours, you get on the bus.
By “enjoy your life”, it meant eating an epic Italian lunch and shopping the rest of the time.
Gluten -free pizza at the Soffitta Renovatio was all I could have wished.
We appreciated the views, we stopped for an espresso and a dessert in the late afternoon, and we were very satisfied.
Pisa and Florence with guided walking visit
We were able to see the leaning tower of Pisa, Cathedral, Baptistery and Camposanto. It was a bit sprinkling, but always beautiful. It was also the same day as the Giro of Italia counter time, so we could see the cyclists prepare to start.
After that, we went to Florence where we jumped the guided tour and opted for a fully GF meal at Mama Eat, more shopping, visiting the Basilica of Santa Croce and looking at a street performance on the square.

Genoa aquarium
For Genoa, we opted for a shorter excursion to visit the aquarium, which was one of the most impressive aquariums that we have visited. Funny fact: they use the water of the filtered ocean and optimized for the balance of the pH, so that the fish have a beautiful clean water every day. We all appreciated this one; Short and sweet.
Bandol alone
For Bandol, we enjoyed a day of beach in this picturesque and charming seaside town. The girls had pancakes, we caught snacks from a market, and we sat on beach towels while the girls collected shells and played in the water.
On the ship, we made the usual shenanigans. The girls played the detective game,
We did family karaoke every night, some trivia / games, bingo, lying at the pool and appreciated the fabulous dining room and entertainment. We also had time of relaxation in the room and I did some training sessions at the gymnasium.
Even if the cruise was 7 nights, it took place too quickly !! We spent a few nights in Barcelona – I will soon make a message with adventures of Barcelona – then we head to Seville.
So tell me, friends: are you a cruise or not so much? We love Disney Cruises, but we have not tried other cruise lines.
