His death -oriented experience is not the only reason why the host made titles this week.
In the recent episode “Table behind the view” podcast, the host now spoke of a sad interview in October 2024, where he asked Kamala Harris a sharp question of whether he would have done differently than Joe Biden in their office. Harris’s answer, “no mind”, “was widely criticized, and according to some political analysts, he meant a great turning point in his presidential offer.
A host who has long expressed his support for Harris and even predicted to win the election, said he was “terrible” that the moment became such a harmful voice.

“I knew it as soon as he answered it,” Hostin recalled. “Which is why I asked about the follow -up question,” Is it one thing? “Because I knew, I could see the sound and knew what was going on.
Hostin’s question, even though it was straightforward, ended up repeating countless political ads, funded by the Trump campaign, which aimed to tie Harris directly to Biden’s unpopular politicians and reduce public support.
Podcast host and “View” producer Brian Teta jokes that the host had “alone in hand in hand,” a note, whose host responded both laughing and repentance.
“I feel terrible,” he said, adding that the moment even ended up in a new book by journalist Jake Tapper. “I had no intention of harming his chances. I supported him.”
Together, the host Alyssa Farah Griffin acknowledged the last effect of the clip. “The Trump campaign set so much advertising money behind that clip,” Griffin said. “They used it to say,” Well, he was not going to do anything different, “and tried to tie him to Biden’s unfavorableness.”

Still, the host pushed back into the idea that only a moment to derail Harris campaign. “No, right?” He asked a living audience with a smile, as Sara Haines and Teta agreed. However, Griffin stood according to his remarks by saying that it was part of a larger story that eventually hurt Harris in the queries.
In spite of the calculation, the host is still convinced that asking hard questions, even the candidates he supported, is part of his work. But that does not mean that he did not feel weight as things progressed.
