President Donald Trump will once again give Tiktok a temporary stay while faced another deadline to sell or face a ban in the United States. The white house press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Tuesday that Trump would sign another decree to extend the deadline.
The last extension – this time for 90 days – has now been the third time that Trump has grown a prohibition from Tiktok since coming to power . “As he said on several occasions, President Trump does not want Tiktok to become dark,” said Leavitt reported by Cnn. “This extension will last 90 days, which the administration will pass to work to ensure that this transaction is concluded so that the American people can continue to use Tiktok with the assurance that their data is safe and secure.”
