Elon Musk Launches a Scathing New Attack on Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill”

Elon Musk broke his political silence with a series of puffed attacks intended directly for the legislative center of the Trump administration. A few hours before a critical vote of the Senate on the president “One Big Beautiful Bill” of the president, the billionaire CEO of Tesla and Spacex reiterated his fierce opposition, degenerating a quarrel with his former boss.

Public rupture marks a dramatic turning point. For months, Musk was a high -level member, albeit unconventional, of the administration, leading the department of effectiveness of the so much praised government, known as Doge. But even during his last hours of government, the richest man in the world began to express his dissent on the bill, which the congress led by the Republican rushes before the holidays of July 4.

Their alliance between Musk and President Donald Trump, always a transactional marriage of convenience between two personalities larger than Life, publicly implored on June 5. The fallout started when Trump, addressing journalists from the Oval Office, expressed his “disappointment” in Musk’s criticisms, suggesting the technological mogul only on the bill after subsidies on electric vehicles. It sparked a real -time tirade of Musk on X. He accused Trump of lying, saying that the bill was “never showed me” and boasted that “without me, Trump would have lost the elections”. The conflict has evolved from there, Trump threatening the lucrative contracts of Musk and Musk, at some point, alleging that the name of Trump appeared in the sadly famous Epstein files before removing the position.

Now, this simmer conflict has boiled again. The issue is a sprawling legislation which defines the priorities of the second term of the Trump administration. The bill includes deep cuts in social programs like Medicaid and Medicare, a new series of massive tax reductions and a significant increase in the country’s debt ceiling. Especially for musk, it also offers drastic discounts and new taxes in the clean energy sector, a direct threat to the industries it leads via Tesla and its solar companies

After criticizing the version of the bill which adopted the House of Representatives, Musk has now launched a large -scale assault on the revised version of the Senate scheduled for a vote on June 28. He began by amplifying an article on his social media platform, X, from a user detailing the new aggressive measures of the bill against the green energy sector.

“The new Senate project increases taxes on all wind and solar projects that have not started construction today unless they are placed in service by the end of 2027 and sail on complex requirements, probably impossible to prove that they do not use a drop of Chinese materials. After that, this bill adds a new tax on wind and solar projects that cannot prove the same thing.” been published by the user.

Musk co-signed the criticism, before adding his own disastrous warning of the broader consequences of the bill for the country.

“The Senate’s last bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and will cause immense strategic damage to our country!”, The billionaire wrote, adding that he is “completely crazy and destructive.

The question is now how President Trump will react. He made the adoption of this bill his main legislative priority, and his administration worked tirelessly to silence all the dissident votes within the party.

Without being discouraged, Musk seized another critical post to continue his offensive. When the same user asked who could possibly want the legislation, which opposes car manufacturers, public electricity services and developers of the data center, the technological magnate has accepted and has made their criticism.

“Good question. Who? Musk replied, before attacking another central component of the bill. “At the same time, this bill increases the debt ceiling by $ 5 billions, the highest increase in history, putting America in the fast path to debt slavery!”

Quoting polls which he published on X which show a generalized opposition to the key principles of the bill, Musk has pronounced his most sharp political warning to date.

“Surveys show that this bill is political suicide for the Republican Party,” he published.

The survey data musk, apparently directed by the Tarrance group, a republican research and strategic survey company, between June 14 and 19, seems to validate its position. The results show that 53% of respondents agree with the Musk characterization of the bill as a “bill for scandalous pork spending which will massively increase the budget deficit and overcome American citizens with unbearable debt with an overwhelming task.” In addition, 57% of those questioned agreed with its specific assertion according to which legislation “would increase the federal deficit by 2.4 billions of dollars in the next decade.
