Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Jade Reveals A Secret Struggle Her Father Faced

Just two months after he had wished his first child, baby boy Elliot Marshall McClinintock, his husband Evan McClintock, a 29-year-old influencer and podcast host has opened up how his parenting has deepened his appreciation for the challenges Eminem faces in the children’s lightlight.

“I’ve been in the spotlight for so long, I have learned to balance what I share publicly with what I consider private,” Hailie said PEOPLE. “Over time, I have realized that my father’s battle wants to protect our privacy while I am proud and want to celebrate his children.”

Now Mom himself, Haire, admits that he was wrestling with the same instincts. “I know the same way now,” he said. “I want to share proud, happy moments that mean a lot to me, especially as a parent, but I am also intentional to keep certain our lives only to us.”

Gradie, Michigan University Gradie, is currently hosting the popular “little shady podcast”, but says that his approach to public life has changed since he became older. “This balance has become more important to me as I navigated in my parenting,” he said.

Hilie is one of Eminem’s three adult children. The rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, shares him, as well as daughters Alaina Marie Scott, 32, and Stevie Laine Scott, 23, former wife Kim Scott.

The newest addition to the family, Little Elliot, was born on March 14, 2025, almost a year after Hailie and Eva tied the node at an intimate ceremony at the Greencrest mansion in Battle Creek, Michigan. A couple who started a dating in 2016 engaged in February 2023.

It has been almost three decades since Eminem first blink about his daughter, and today she has all grown, married and making her own labeling in the world. Fans remember his name from songs such as “Mockingbird” and “Hailie’s Song”, but in addition to lyrics, Eminem’s love for his daughter has always been ahead and downtown.

Eminem’s problems with prescription drugs began in the late ’90s and wandered without controlling his career explosion. At the height of his addiction, he took up to 60 vicodin pills a day. He also trusts to sleep in Ambien and used methadone, synthetic opioid, which he misused a weaker painkiller.
