Environmental lawsuit targets immigrant detention center in Everglades

Several environmental groups filed federal legal action on Friday, alleging that officials did not evaluate the ecological impacts during the construction of “Alligator Alcatraz” illegal immigrant Center for detention near the Everglades and Big Cypress National Preserve.
