Hundreds of fans gathered early in the morning to have an overview of the K-Pop Jimin and Jung Kook superstars, the last and last BTS members to be released from the compulsory military service of South Korea.

The seven singers of the Popular K-Pop Group plan to meet as a group during 2025 after completing their service.

The law gives special exemptions to athletes, classic and traditional musicians, ballet and other dancers if they have obtained highest prices in certain competitions and are assessed as having an improved national prestige.
K-pop stars and other artists are not subject to such privileges. However, in 2020, BTS postponed its service until the age of 30 after the National Assembly of South Korea revised its law on military service, allowing the K-Pop stars to delay their enrollment until the age of 30.
There was a public debate animated in 2022 on the opportunity to offer special exemptions from compulsory military service for BTS members, until the group’s management agency announcement in October 2022 that the seven members would fulfill their functions.
